Talks will be held across two days. There are 3 main tracks. These sessions includes the extensive and diverse topics among the Python Ecosystem.

Lightning talks are 5-minute sessions in PyCon India where participants can share their topic of interest with attendees. Registration will open on the conference day.

Poster Presentations in PyCon India showcases ideas from Pythonistas. It features a graphical summary on an A0-sized board, this format allows presenters to engage with attendees in an informal setting.

PyLadies Lunch

PyLadies is an international mentorship group focusing on helping more women and gender minorities become active participants and leaders in the Python open source community.
This luncheon is specially curated for women and gender minorities in the Python community. It doesn't matter whether you're a first-time attendee, a hobbyist coder, or a seasoned developer contributing to impactful projects, this space is for you.

Open Spaces

Open Spaces at PyCon India brings together a community of Python enthusiasts, ranging from beginners to seasoned developers, educators, researchers, and organizers. It is a participant-driven meetup environment where anyone can lead or join spontaneous discussions. No formal presentations required.

Dev Sprint

Dev Sprint at PyCon India provides an opportunity for attendees to contribute to new projects or existing ones. In this, experienced contributors will guide you through your first open-source contribution, from setup to coding, testing, and patch submission.

FAQs while attending PyCon India

How can I report an incident at the conference?

If you have any concerns and feel like you've been harassed, please report the incident by contacting the Help Desk or sending an email to coc@in.pycon.org describing your concerns. The members will contact you further and decide what action needs to be taken.

What should I do if an attendee refuses to address me using my preferred pronoun even after multiple requests?

If you wish to be addressed by a specific pronoun(s), please add your preferred pronouns to your name on the conference platforms to inform the other attendees on how to address you. If an attendee(s) refuses to use your preferred pronoun, even after notifying them that that's how you wish to be addressed, and makes you feel uncomfortable, please report the incident.

What should I do if I have concerns regarding an attendee's behavior?

If the observed attendee's behavior amounts to harassment or abuse against you or other attendees, please report the incident.

What if something happens that is not covered in the CoC?

For any incidents during the conference that are not covered by CoC, please contact the Help Desk to resolve the issue. If you think the incident is serious or involves concerning behavior, please report it.

I have concerns regarding another attendee who will be attending the conference. Whom can I reach out to? What can you do about this?

If you have any concerns about another individual(s) attending the conference, please report them to the Help Desk. The members will contact you further and decide what action needs to be taken.

When and how can I collect my conference t-shirt?

T-shirt distribution will take place on Day 2 of the conference. Please collect your t-shirt during the assigned time slot based on the first letter of your name as printed on your badge:

  • A–K: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
  • L–R: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • S–Z: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
