PyCon India 2025 invites developers to participate in Dev Sprint from across the country (and beyond) to celebrate the power of Python. For all open source enthusiasts, it doesn't matter if you're new to open source or a seasoned maintainer, it's an excellent opportunity to identify your favorite Python projects and contribute to them.

What is Dev Sprint

Bullet Icon At Dev Sprint, mentors and contributors of Open Source Software (OSS) projects guide participants through the end-to-end process of OSS contribution.

Bullet Icon You'll learn starting from scratch such as build environments setup, developing and testing code, to submitting bug patches. If you get stuck, don’t worry—mentors are on hand to help you troubleshoot and get back on track!

Bullet Icon From past experiences, we have seen many people start contributing to OSS through Dev Sprint and later becoming regular contributors to various projects across the community.
