Panel Discussions

PyCon India 2025 invites panel discussion proposals that promote engaging, diverse, and insightful conversations across various aspects of Python and its ecosystem. A panel discussion is a moderated conversation among a small group of experts discussing a specific topic in front of an audience. It allows diverse perspectives and audience engagement.

Important Dates

  • Bullet Icon Submission Open: 11 July 2025
  • Bullet Icon Submission Deadline: 10 August 2025
  • Bullet Icon Schedule Announcement: 13 August 2025
  • Bullet Icon Panel Discussions: 13-14 September 2025

Submission Guidelines

  • Bullet Icon Panel must have 3 to 5 participants, including a moderator.
  • Bullet Icon To ensure diversity, all panelists should not identify with the same gender.
  • Bullet Icon Discussions must be interactive in nature rather than a series of individual talks.
  • Bullet Icon No slides or presentations allowed during the Panel discussion.
  • Bullet Icon No TBD or placeholder names - all panelists must be confirmed at the time of submission.
  • Bullet Icon All panelists from the same organization are not allowed.
  • Bullet Icon All the panelists must have proven experience with the discussion topic.
  • Bullet Icon Time limit: 30 minutes, including audience Q&A.

Selection Process

  • Bullet Icon Shortlisting: Proposals will be reviewed by the review committee for completeness and adherence to guidelines.
  • Bullet Icon Review: After getting shortlisted, you need to submit the questions that are going to be discussed during panel discussion.
  • Bullet Icon Orientation call: Familiarize panel members with the format of Panel Discussions at PyCon India.
