Abstract | A lot of free, open and amazingly powerful software has been written by the open source community in Python for network security. There are numerous Python extensions to popular libraries like pcap, dpkt and powerful software written purely in Python such as Scapy. This talk will focus on a few such tools which are most useful for network security with a focus on libraries which allow the developer/security researcher to write his own tools. |
