Objective
The objective of this talk is to introduce the audience about TaskFlow: State Management Framework and demonstration for library usage.
Description
TaskFlow is a lightweight and efficient state management library. It was originally developed for OpenStack projects and has recently become popular and widely used across python community and projects for efficient state management.
The agenda for this discussion will be following
- Motivation & Expectation for State Management
- Usage Scenario
- Basic Concepts and Architecture
- Demonstration and usage of library
Requirements
- A Linux machine with python 2.7 and taskflow library.
- Basics of Linux and python would be sufficient for this talk.
Speaker bio
- Work experience of 7 years and currently associated with NEC Technologies.
- Designed and contributed to many significant python frameworks and tools for one of the major products of NEC Corporation in variety of categories including test automation, C++/Python integration, build/continuous integration, simulation, product features and plugins.
- For the past 3-4 months, have been active contributor in various OpenStack projects (Swift, Cinder etc.)
- Active speaker and presenter in various technical talks & forums in the organization.
