Objective
This talk will focus on how Python is used in Robotics. This will give you a good introduction to ROS(Robotic Operating System) with python and how it used in advanced Robotics.
Here I will demonstrate how to program a simple joystick controlled robot using python and ROS
Description
If you love Robotics, ROS (Robot Operating System) is an unavoidable tool for you. If you are develop it using python it makes your life more easy.
ROS provides libraries and tools to help you to create robot applications. It provides hardware abstraction, device drivers, libraries, visualizers, message-passing, package management, and more.It provides operating system-like functionality on a heterogeneous computer cluster
Requirements
If you want to execute some quick code snippets , I am recommending you to bring a Laptop (Ubuntu 12.04) with pre-installed installed ROS

Thanks for sharing Unais. Just a suggestion, when submitting proposal to a tech conference (international / local) "show your code" upfront so that reviewers will get a review the code that you have written. That helps a lot.
