Automatic deployment and scaling of python in AWS

Objective
To gain insights into how python code can be deployed for development operations purposes, and learn from the experiences of the fellow travelers.
Description
We will share the lessons learned from implementing the autotester software we are using to conduct coding contests around Andhra Pradesh using AWS, Vagrant, built in Python.
This framework supports polyglot programming for the contests meaning students will be able able to submit their work in C, C++, Python or Java.

Speaker bio
I am a volunteer in SVPM Trust, and manage their VEBSnet2 initiative. Aim of the trust is to help several colleges in Andhra area to have more exposure to the Industry. Our aim is to bring awareness in students to know what is out there, and where they stand. We are building a network of alumni and people from area to take guest lectures in various colleges, conduct coding challenges and workshops.
In my professional life I have 21 years of experience in the IT industry in wide range of technologies and products, of which 15 is in Sillicon Valley. I am currently working as a Platform Architect for Gnana for their python and SAS based predictive analytics product. Prior to Gnana, I was Director of Development in Oracle for their flagship Oracle Identity Manager product and I hold several patents in the area of deployment automation and micro-kernel based architectures and other general platform work.

This is my first attempt at presenting in a conference after 17 years, so I have no prior references. This talk is only to share our experiences in deploying the python solution in the cloud. Autotester is neither a commercial not an open source product, it is a tool we use to conduct code contests such as this: http://vrs.acm.org/?q=content/coding-engineers
I will create a few slides in a month's time and update the links. We are planning to improve it and conduct another contest soon and busy with that work right now.
