Objective
Learn how to do basic animation in python and leave with a feeling of having learned something cool.
This is a recording of the animation I created and will be using for the demo/workshop -- https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=340200166016100&l=3198012610749141165
Description
We'll be using object oriented programming to build objects which we will then display using the python image libraries to create frames for our animation. We will then use the python movie libraries to play our frames so that the whole thing shows as a nice little animation!
Requirements
Basic knowledge of core python (2.x) and object oriented programming.
Speaker bio
I came from the world of C/C++ and started learning python out of curiosity and moved on from solving Project Euler problems (since integers could be big!) and then learned to do basic image processing, building games and animation. Later on, I also recorded my own python tutorials (now on Youtube), a link to which is provided in the links section.
I am a python developer at a startup named Myparichay. We have a facebook app and I work on the backend. Through this talk, I want to reemphasize how easy it is do build stuff in python and my goal is to leave you with a feeling that you learned something cool.

Can you specify which libraries you're going to be using ? I'm not sure what participants can expect to take back from attending this workshop.
