Using python to make games

Objective

1) Learn to write games using pygame
2) Hands on session with codes will be given
3) Introduction to GUI programming
One can expect to make games which may be ported to android too.

Description

Pygame and TKinter can be used to develop fun games. We will try to get a hang of game programming using python 3.2
The session would be taken with hands on session for game development.

Requirements

A laptop with python 3.2 and pygame installed.

Speaker bio

I have been into the academics since last 12 years. Currently am the HOD, IT Department in CSJM University. I have been the topper of my BTech batch from HBTI, Kanpur and am passionate about learning and teaching.
I love gaming and make small games for kids at the moment, though aspire for much more :)
