Objective

The attendee of the this session will get an idea of following:

  • General advantages of PaaS

  • Using GAE SDK and available apps for Python

  • Enhancing the platform by including third party libraries

  • Using additional Google Services (Datastore, Users, Cron, Message queuing etc.)

  • Adding MVC structure to GAE

  • Available boilerplate code on Github for quick start

Description

The session aims to introduce Google App Engine as a ready platform available to developers where they can shape up their ideas focusing on the core problem rather than having to worry about infrastructure, costs and other related issues.

Speaker bio

Akshay is a startup engineer having more than 14 years of industry experience. He is working with social sopping pioneer, ShopSocially, as Principal Architect since its inception. He was also a founding team member of Wi-Fi security leader AirTight Networks.
