"Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) interventions are used for children with autism, often as stand-alone communication interventions for those who are minimally verbal.As per the survey about 1 in 100 children in India under age 10 has autism, and nearly 1 in 8 has at least one neurodevelopmental condition. In order to assist these children for communication, we have developed our proposed device which is a Tablet. It is an accessorized AAC tablet with switches, gesture recognition, stereo audio output, and local language support. Now a days the people with motor disabilities need some or the other special equipments. Keeping that in mind, we have developed this unique tablet and it incorporates and acts as an interface module for some special applications useful for Education, Communication, Mobility and use in Daily life.It has some external controls like, image to text, speech to text and Mouse actions through switches.
Use of Python Python's standard library is very extensive, offering a wide range of facilities to develop the functions and support. Also many one click games are developed or are customized so that it can be played by these children. Pygame is a set of Python modules designed for writing games. It is written by using excellent python SDL library. It allows us to create fully featured games and multimedia programs in the python language.
