Description:

This will be an introduction on how users can use topic modelling to get interesting insights into their data. We will also experiment on how we can evaluate different topic models based on their user interpretability using the new topic coherence pipeline in gensim. We'll play around with the use-cases of the coherence pipeline and how we can tweak LDA in many different ways.

Prerequisites:

No prerequisites as such although an idea about gensim and topic modelling would be a bonus.

Speaker Info:

I'm a final year undergraduate student of computer science. I did a summer project on adding the topic coherence pipeline to gensim. I'm enthusiastic about the research which is happening in the field of machine learning and natural language processing and it's numerous applications which are advancing the frontiers of technology.
