Saptak Sengupta (~SaptakS)

Gitcoin is a community for developers to collaborate and monetize their skills while working on Open Source projects through bounties. The ultimate goal and mission of Gitcoin is to Grow Open Source and allowing contributors and maintainers to sustain in Open Source. Open Source contributions provide millions of economy in this world but it is still difficult for an Open Source developer to sustain themself by doing what they love to do.

In Gitcoin, we make our own platform via Open Source Contribution using the Gitcoin platform and incentivise each and every contributions. In this devsprint I will walk through the Gitcoin development environment and get everyone started to contributing to some of the issues or features in Gitcoin which are bountied and demonstrate a way that might help them in future to sustain via Open Source. It will not only give everyone a chance to contribute to the Gitcoin codebase, but also learn the flow to contribute to several other bountied Open Source works out there in Gitcoin.
