This session will begin by contrasting REST and GraphQL, highlighting the limitations of traditional RESTful APIs and the advantages offered by GraphQL in terms of flexibility, efficiency, and performance.

We will then dive into Graphene, a powerful Python library that simplifies the development of GraphQL APIs. Through a series of hands-on examples and live coding, attendees will learn how to define GraphQL schemas, create queries and mutations, and handle complex data relationships. The session will also cover advanced topics such as integrating with various databases, implementing robust authentication and authorization mechanisms, and optimizing API performance for scalability.
