In this talk will introduce Amazon CodeWhisperer, an AI-powered coding assistant that streamlines serverless development in Python on AWS. I will walk through building a full-fledged, event-driven, serverless image recognition application in Python on AWS. With CodeWhisperer's assistance, you'll write code for Python Lambda functions that leverage: - Amazon Rekognition: for image analysis - Amazon DynamoDB: for data storage - Amazon SNS and SQS: for event notifications and queuing - Amazon S3: for object storage - Third-party APIs: for additional functionalities Users will interact with the application by submitting image URLs for processing or requesting a list of recognized objects in stored images. This hands-on session will showcase the power of CodeWhisperer in streamlining Python serverless development
