ASTER: Automotive Software Test Execution Robot Automation Framework

Jyotika

Description:

In view of the ever fast growing technologies for the automotive products such as autonomous driving, safety and security, the integration and qualification of the products are becoming most challenging focus area for industries and research communities. In this paper we propose a state-of-the-art build and test environment using robot automation framework called Automotive Software Test Execution Robot (ASTER). We discuss the evolution of the architecture and implementation of the ASTER framework. The proposed framework can be integrated locally on the individual desk and also can be integrated with the continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, hub of test machines as Test Farm and demonstrated the results by deploying it on a live automotive software project using Infineon microcontroller.
