<p>More of knowledge, less of time. Lots of links to read to get relevant information. Lot of tasks to perform when you switch on your system. Does the problem sounds familiar? Do you want to ease some of your tasks? This workshop will take you through the steps to solve all above problems. </p> <p> <ul> <li>You will be able to scrape internet and filter out the information you need and understanding it rather than wasting much of your time on searching. </li> <li>You will be able to summarise articles, so that you know, if the article is relevant and you should invest time in reading it whole.</li> <li>You will be able to automate many of your repetative tasks and boring tasks.</li> </ul> <p> <p>The workshop will be a step by step guide. In the end, one will be able to dive much deeper and write many useful scripts using Python to make life more efficient.</p> <p><i><b>The contents of workshop</i></b>: <ul> <li>Introduction</li> <li>Web Crawler</li> <li>Scraping links</li> <li>Summarising articles</li> <li>Automating tasks</li> </ul> </p>
Prerequisites:
<ul> <li>Basic familiarity with python. Must be able to write "fizzbuzz" program</li> <li>Basic HTML knowledge</li> </ul>
