Objective

Learn how to write parallel code with pyCUDA.

Description

Talk focuses use of libraries like
numpy
scipy
matplotlib
and pyCUDA for information extraction from an image.

Requirements

A Linux Machine with NVIDIA GPU
Python 2.6+
CUDA 5.5

Speaker bio

3rd year dual degree(B.tech cs + MS Computational Natural Sciences)
student at IIIT Hyderabad.
As my summer project I have worked on image processing with pyCUDA for Digital in-line holographic microscopy
and currently working on optimization techniques for parallel programming.
