This talk will focus on how to build a application quickly with "Quickly". Quickly is a combination of PyGTK and Glade. It also deals with application packaging and releasing for others to use. With the help of Quickly software we can create a gui rapidly as well as .deb file. So we can install our application very quickly in linux distributions like Ubuntu, Fedora etc.

Profile of the authors

Rajeswari S currently works for NRCFOSS, Chennai. She came to know the word Python as a programming language by mid of 2009. Towards interest in Python and its gui programming she developed small scripts. She actively participates in LUG(Linux User Group) and Python meetings that takes palce in and around Chennai. She is an active member of Chennai Python User Group[1].
